Chicks hatched in garden bed

This goofy hen decided to brood in my raised garden bed. She was on five eggs and a bunch of cherry tomatoes. Today four of the eggs hatched, and thankfully she seems to have given up on hatching the tomatoes. 😆

She's on eggs, and tomatoes

Jocasta is brooding in my raised garden bed. She's on five eggs and multiple cherry tomatoes.

She's sweet as can be, but her cornbread ain't done in the middle.

"Traveler Experiences" studies

Are these legit? They've been listed for a couple of days; each study is about a different country. The anticipated vs actual completion times are really off so I'm guessing there's a high screen out rate. I just want to make sure I'm not going into them if they're rejection-happy.

Intended time is way off

Just a heads up.

Expected time is four minutes. The videos alone took 11 to watch. Add in another 1-2 minutes to select answers.

It was approved in moments, and was not a difficult study. I wouldn't do it again though. The pay rate was low at four minutes, let alone 12.

ETA: I just received a pay increase to make up for it. I'm much happier now!

Glad Hallendale packages well!

So glad Hallandale packages things up so well!

This is my second shipment, as I ordered the six month package of semaglutide. The first package had the first two vials, and they automatically sent this shipment at the right time. The heat index is 95 today and everything was still nice and cool.

Crazy slow transfer to 10

My used and abused 8 got the green screen of death. Pixel 10 arrived today. It's been 2 1/2 hours and it's still on "copying your accounts."

It may be a long night. 😆

Fried fish: oh the pain!

My husband brought home a rare treat: fried fish. I've been on semaglutide for a month.

I haven't been this sick since having food poisoning in college.

Thankfully I have zofran and phazym on hand. First dose didn't exactly get the opportunity to work, but taking another round. Sipping an electrolyte drink.

No more fried foods, friends. Take it from me.

One month on semaglutide

I just hit my one month mark on semaglutide (through pomhealth and Hallandale Pharmacy).

Starting weight: 209.2.

Today: 198.4

I'll stay on the small starter dose of .2 for another month, then will decide if I need to titrate up or not.

The first week was such a learning experience of figuring out what my body was trying to tell me!

As for exercise, that's a really hard one for me. I've had 49 surgeries and a permanent lifting restriction of three pounds. I'm doing the best I can, which has basically been stretching, walking, and lifting a can of corn in each hand (hey it works and keeps me within my restrictions limit).
