Cheapest and simplest vortex cannon demonstration

A vortex cannon is a simple design that uses a membrane on a cylinder to create puffs of air similar to blowing smoke rings.

This is a deli container with a hole cut in the bottom, some cling film, and a piece of masking tape.

At the end I demonstrate a similar effect using only the hand.

REVIEW: Plum Dragon Herbs - Ku Yu Cheong Iron Palm Dit Da Jow

I ordered this product online from their retail website. This is the premade Jow in a 4 oz size bottle. It comes with a glass pipette dropper in a glass bottle.

The smell is somewhat exotic and herbal but not unpleasant. It dries on the skin quickly and does not leave any noticable residue.

I apply it generously and massage it in before training, and then again after. From my personal experience it does seem to prevent a lot of the burning and irritation of the skin. As I am writing this it has been about an hour and the heaviest red marks on the forearms and palms are still visible, but overall there is no irritation or lingering pain.

I rate this product highly and will continue to use it. It also comes in a brew it yourself 1 gallon kit which I will get next time.

"Finger Waving" criticism

Ok I lied this is the last one.

For those of you who have any interest in this, there is a criticism leveled sometimes about the waving fingers flapping about and causing the candle to go out through "cheating".

Here we see lots of finger waving and flapping in close proximity to the candle flame. The idea that you need to lock out your joints to practice this skill is not only wrong, it is counterproductive.

From someone who actually trains this skill, what you are trying to achieve is radical relaxation, not locked joints in your movement chain. Doing it with locked joints is a progression, not where you should begin.

For those offering counterpoints and criticisms, I welcome your responses in VIDEO FORMAT.

Thanks so much in advance!

DISCUSSION- "Candle Skill" (Yang Zhu Gong)

What are your thoughts on the "candle skill" where martial artists train to extinguish candles with strikes?

Valuable training tool?

Worthless parlor trick?

Something else?
