I’m confused as to why Army of Me is one of her biggest songs

Really big Bjork fan here. This song since I first heard it came across as kind of whatever and it still, after years, hasn’t grown on me. Yet I still see diehard Bjork fans put it in their top 10 lists. Can someone enlighten me on why they like it or why it’s so popular? I’m not trying to be a hater, and if you love this song I’m happy for you, I just feel like she has so many better songs

“If you say the word” is one of the best pieces of music in history and is severely underrated inside and outside the Radiohead community

This should’ve been one of there biggest hits. I wish it was on Amnesiac between Hunting Bears and Like Spinning Plates. Please tell me there’s more fans of this beautiful piece of music

Edit: I’ve gotten some backlash saying there’s a lot of exaggeration in what I said. Maybe I should’ve used “favorite” instead of “greatest” but I had just listened to this song and was in an emotional mood, and I feel incredibly passionate (wow really I never would’ve guessed?!) about this song. But in the end, I saw in put several people onto it so the backlash is worth it for that:) if you hadn’t heard of this you might not have heard of “Follow me around” which is another great one from the same b-side

My hot take: Au Pays du Cocaine is bottom 3 on the album

It’s not that I don’t like it, I like or love every song on this album but I’m confused as to why this was the biggest hit. It has powerful lyrics and it’s not like I don’t like slow songs, but just compared to the rest of the album it seems a bit bland and not even super catchy compared to the likes of Cobra or Husbands; which I believe are all-around masterpieces of the decade in music

Who would you have liked to see Radiohead collab with?

I recently saw that Ed hoped in the past to collab with Dr. Dre and I thought that was super interesting and would’ve loved to see it. Ik Thom Yorke has as a solo act but the only one I feel like actually counts on a Radiohead album is “Life in a glasshouse” featuring the Humphrey Littleton Band. I personally would’ve liked to see something with another singer (kind of like Thom and PJ Harvey’s “This Mess We’re In”) but maybe with Nick Cave, Mazzy Star, or Laura Marling (and ik she collabed with Ed but still; this would’ve gone hard in TKOL era)

Who is “Sarah” in Lucky

I feel like the only time Thom really namedrops someone is in this song with the line “Kill me Sarah, kill me again with love” so I just find that interesting
