Is getting an ROTC scholarship more competitive are more prestigious schools?

I'm looking into doing ROTC at colleges like uchicago and notre dame and have pretty good high school stats but I'm concerned that the higher rigor of these schools will make it much harder to get that scholarship.

    1. I actively compete with [hidden state] HOSA and won the state championships for Nutrition and represented the state of [hidden state] at the international competition. also got second place in prepared speaking but chose to go for nutrition instead.
  4. I spent around 150 hours last summer interning under [hidden professor] [university] physics research program, specifically investigating and producing a poster
  5. I volunteer at [state hospital] and the VA [state va hospital] and have spent around 200 hours total managing up to 50 visitors an hour and managing transport for up to 10 patients per hour. I have also trained 4 different volunteers for the guest services division of [hidden].
  6. I have shadowed physicians at [various other hospitals] for a total of 80 hours, experiencing the careers of everybody from a cardiothoracic surgeon performing a double bypass to a dental surgeon performing a root canal.
  7. I am a member of the [hidden] German society, winning the state championship in 2023 for outstanding German work, as well as being a gold medalist on the AATG National German Exam
