Incorrect stitches?

Hey guys! I am currently knitting the Holly Bandana by Susanne Müller, and I think I’m messing up some stitches on the flower motifs. As pictured, what I believe is the k2tog or ssk (I tried to back track looking at the pattern but can seem to figure out which stitch I’m messing up) is causing one side of the motif to be thicker then the rest and it happened to both stitches but are different leaning stitches? I tried to look at references to read my stitches and to review how to do each stitch and I thought I was doing them right but now I’m stumped. Any thoughts?? Thank you!!

Not meeting gauge?

Hey guys! I am planning on knitting the Sol Top by Mochi Knits and I don’t think my gauge swatch is correct and I’m unsure what to do. I have substituted the yarn for the quince and Co. linen that’s in fingering weight so I was holding it double. The recommended yarn was a DK linen. I was using 3.5 mm needles. You can see that I essentially make gauge for the width of the project before the length I am way over the gauge is supposed to be 26 stitches by 40 rows blocked to 10 cm or 4 inches. The yarn was pretty hard to knit with because it was quite stiff so I really don’t think going down a needle size would be correct. Even after blocking my swatch , I don’t feel like it is super soft and drappy but it is linen so I think with a few washes it could become softer. Or should I increase my needle size for better drape? I was going to originally knit in a size large to accommodate for my bust which is around 96 cm or 37 1/2 inches but should I size down instead? I’m kind of stuck between increasing my needle size for Better drape although I think the linen could soften versus sizing down because the length of the best could be very long if I followed the pattern. I’m just looking for some advice. This would be the second top I’ve ever knitted after the camisole number 10. Thank you guys!

Hey guys! Newer to knitting here, and I wanted to knit the cloud sweater, but my problem is is I currently have the yarn I want to use, but it’s sport weight and when I add a single strand mohair, it would be Aran weight. I’m worried that if I try and modify the sweater because I won’t meet gauge because the weight doesn’t match that I’m gonna screw something up. Is it worth adding two strands of mohair because I think that might push it over into the bulky category and then that would meet the recommendation for the sweater or should is it better to just go up a size in the sweater? This would be my first sweater and I’m just nervous to screw it up. I’ve been trying to search through projects in Ralvery who might’ve knitted this in Arin weight but they don’t leave a lot of comments as to how they modified the sweater otherwise. Can’t wait to hear from you guys and thank you so much for your time!
