Pedro Rodríguez will leave SS Lazio at the end of the season.

🫡 The match against Pisa will be his last in the white and blue shirt, after that his contract will expire on June 30.

😮‍💨 More than 200 appearances and 38 goals for SS Lazio.

We have to admit that he has been a great player for Serie A: he won many trophies in his career and, even at 39 years old, he was still able to be decisive in several matches.

🔥 Pedro is one of the very few players to score in the Rome derby with both clubs from the capital, with the difference that at AS Roma he looked like a finished player, while at Lazio he was completely reborn.

It’s a very important goodbye, because Pedro had become one of the most respected players inside the club.

⚔️ There is ONLY ONE MATCH LEFT, but the Champions League race is still VERY MUCH ALIVE.

The new standings after the 12 PM matches:

  1. Napoli 73

  2. Milan 70

  3. Roma 70

  4. Como 68

  5. Juventus 68

✅ SSC Napoli dominate against Pisa and officially qualify for the Champions League, as expected.

🔥 AS Roma win the derby thanks to a brace from Gianluca Mancini and overtake Juventus FC, who are shockingly beaten by ACF Fiorentina and fall all the way down to sixth place.

AC Milan win a difficult match, even though the atmosphere around the club is still very tense, and stay in the Champions League spots.

😮‍💨 Como 1907, thanks to Moreno’s goal, remain fully in the Champions League race and move above Juventus.

Stephan El Shaarawy will leave AS Roma at the end of the season.

❌ Yes, on June 30 his contract with AS Roma will expire and it will not be renewed.

He spent almost 10 total years at Roma, and I think we Roma fans will remember him for a very long time.

🔥 A player with great technique, who scored so many important goals. He made more than 300 appearances in the yellow and red shirt and scored over 60 goals in total.

❔ Where would you like to see Stephan El Shaarawy play next? In my opinion, he could still be very useful for a mid or lower table Serie A club.

Ruslan Malinovskyi is a new Trabzonspor player, he will leave Genoa CFC.

🥲 He will leave Genoa as a free agent and sign a 3 year contract with the Turkish club.

🔥 He has really been a very good player for Serie A: great technical quality, a great long range shot, and we all know how dangerous he can be from set pieces.

He recorded 33 goals and 28 assists in 182 matches between Atalanta and Genoa.

😮‍💨 In Turkey he can still do very well: great signing for Trabzonspor.

⚔️ Two matchdays left to play, but the Champions League race is more open than ever.‎

At 2 matches from the end of the season, there are still 5 teams fully fighting for a Champions League spot.

• Napoli 70 pts

• Juventus 68 pts

• Milan 67 pts

• Roma 67 pts

• Como 65 pts

✅ Napoli are clearly the team closest to qualification: one win against either Pisa or Udinese would be enough to secure a Champions League spot.

🔥 The last two spots are still completely open.

Juventus will have to face Fiorentina and Torino, two very difficult and high pressure matches.

Milan probably has the easiest schedule, with Genoa and Cagliari, but they are coming from a very difficult period and a crisis both technically and mentally.

Roma will play everything in the derby against Lazio, before the final match against Hellas Verona. Two massive games, especially considering that the Giallorossi are at a disadvantage in the head to head record.

Como are the real surprise of the season: Fabregas’ team has a great chance to get 6 points against Parma and Cremonese, but they will still need some mistakes from the other teams.

⚔️ Two matchdays left to play, but the Champions League race is more open than ever.‎

RIMONTA IMPOSSIBILE IN SEMIFINALE DI COPPA ITALIA

Ieri stavo perdendo 81,5 a 74.

è successo L'IMPOSSIBILE, Milinkovic prende 3 gol e Rowe segna AL 91', portando la situazione: 78 a 78.

E così facendo passo io perché a pari punti passa il fantallenatore in trasferta.

Nottingham Forest have decided not to buy Lucca permanently, the player will return to Napoli.

😮‍💨 To the happiness of Napoli fans, because he played very well, Lucca will return to the Italian club.

Jokes aside, I’m pretty sure Conte will immediately ask the club to sell him, even if I don’t think they will receive any big offers.

I think it became clear very quickly that Conte does not want to deal with the Italian striker (so I wonder what he expected when they signed him).

In my opinion, he can easily be the starting striker for a mid table Italian club, at the level of Udinese where he actually played well.

❔ Where would you like to see Lucca play?

Who would you like to see in the Champions League next season?

🔥 Even though there are only 3 matchdays left until the end of the league, the Champions League race is still completely open.

😮‍💨 Four teams fighting, but only two will get the last available spots.

🤷🏻‍♂️ Obviously, as a Roma fan, I hope Roma will finish in the top 4 too.

I would also like to see Milan back in the Champions League, even if with their current form I don’t think they really deserve it that much.

❔ And you, who would you like to see in the Champions League?

Jonathan Rowe, the great talent of Bologna.

🔥 Very strong English winger, personally he’s one of my favorite players this Serie A season.

In my opinion, people don’t talk about him enough: even if his G/A are low, you just need to watch one of his matches to understand how dangerous he is in attack, with around 3 shots per game.

He is definitely one of Bologna’s best players, especially in the second part of the season.

😮‍💨 I think he has crazy potential, if he improves his few weaknesses he can really become a top player.

❔ Do you agree?

📉 3 points less than Juventus in fourth place, 2 points less than Roma.

🔥 But on paper, Como has the easiest games: Verona, Parma and Cremonese. They also have the head to head advantage over Juventus and a better goal difference than Roma (equal in head to head).

❔ Maybe it’s still too early to say that they are out of the Champions League race?

It’s actually hard to think that Juve could lose another 3 points to Como, but it’s not impossible.

🫡We all remember that Marcus Thuram was going through a bad period at Inter, where he was less effective and had a lot of trouble scoring even one goal. The fans were starting to worry that this drop would not be only temporary.

🔥 From the start of April though, we have seen the real Thuram again, fast, strong and decisive. He has been very important for Inter in this final part of the season, and has helped in almost all of Inter's latest wins.

😬 Three defeats, one draw and one win, these are Milan's last five matches.

📉 But there are even more shocking stats, in these five matches they scored literally only one goal against Hellas Verona. The attack now seems completely dead, with many wasted chances.

It looks like there has been a mental collapse, there is no team play anymore, and if they continue like this, they could even risk missing Champions League qualification.

🫡This possibility has been talked about a lot recently, mainly because of several boring matches with zero excitement.

❌Let’s be honest, Verona and Pisa haven’t been anywhere near the level required for Serie A this season, with far too few points collected.

It’s also true that with 18 teams there would be 4 fewer matchdays, the tempo of games would be higher and players would be less tired.

😬There are downsides too in my opinion. Serie B clubs would find it much harder to survive in the top division. Also, Serie A would earn much less (almost 80 fewer matches, that’s not a small number).

❔Do you think this is actually a good idea?
