Hi! I’m a first-year girl at UIT RGPV Bhopal and didn’t get hostel allotment. I’m looking for other girls who also didn’t get a college hostel and are planning to stay in a private girls’ hostel.

I'm 19F. I met my ex through my best friend earlier this year. After a lot of on-and-off talking, he finally committed, and we started dating. Everything was going well.

One day we had a small argument. I called him while he was riding his bike, and his childhood best friend (K) answered the call. He got involved, called me "mental," and said he didn't even consider our relationship. I told him it was between me and my boyfriend and that he shouldn't interfere.

A few days later, K gave my boyfriend an ultimatum: "Choose me or her." My boyfriend tried convincing him for three days, but according to him, K wouldn't change his mind.

In the end, my boyfriend broke up with me. He admitted that K was acting out of ego and that he knew it wasn't right, but he said he had already promised K that he would end the relationship, and keeping that promise mattered more.

When I asked if I should wait for him, he told me to move on because he wasn't going to change his decision.

So I blocked him everywhere.

My questions are:

Was I wrong anywhere?

If you were in his place, what would you have done?

Is choosing a childhood best friend over your partner understandable, or was this unfair?
