I’ve had several games where my opponent resigns after a major loss or perceived loss, even when the time is on their side, why do they resign? or is it an automated process!

Is the Queen’s gambit preferred by higher rated players? It’s one which people can learn by repetition, move fast in the opening to save time for the middle and end game. Plus if your opponent makes a mistake, it will lead to morbid consequences!

Playing at work I have it on silent and since I work nights when I get home I don't want to wake up my wife. But I took a day off work today and cranked up the volume and it has an arcade type sound and experience, I love it! Can't believe what I was missing!
