Is there a safe way to rewire a 5-wire connector battery to fit a 3-wire connector battery terminal?
Sorry if I worded it wrong. Ordered the right battery with the wrong connector to replace the dead battery in my daughter’s baby monitor (HelloBaby Model HB6550-2 if that helps). Both battery are 3.7V 3500mAh 12.95Wh. Only difference is the old battery only has 3 wires ( red+, black-, and yellow) whereas the new battery has 5 wires (two red, two black, one white). Therefore the connector doesn’t fit.
Can your everyday jackass jerryrig this shiznit or am I gonna have to wait another couple days to order a new battery? I have a soldering iron and electrical tape if that helps. Have to search for wire splitters…
We just switched my daughter from a crib to a toddler bed hence the desperation for some surveillance in the dark.
