Have not declared war in +100 years, neighboring Russia has troops comparable to me. Just got gifted the Conqueror trait.
I just did a post about finding the meta to get Conqueror, so this is quite the funny coincidence.
What is the fastest way to erase a culture and replace it with yours?
I am doing a Norse+reformed Asatru run with House Munso. Have gotten all of Scandinavia, England and Wales (the latter thanks to a vassal’s holy CB).
Catholic faith has been completely replaced with Asatru in England proper, but the culture remains Anglo Saxon. All but 2 of the duchies within are under Norse rulers.
Is this something that plays out as I move on or can I take steps myself as well?
Which side have you had the most fun with in the Iberian Struggle?
Got the DLC recently but have never played the region.
Anyone figured out the "meta" to get the Conqueror trait?
Novgorod will probably lose it soon as he got defeated in war lol
DLC sale going on now
For anyone that needs to hear it. Got myself Northern Lords and Struggle for Iberia for 13€ altogether.
Addition of Conqueror has made for some interesting blobs around map
Khazaria blobbing as usual
Any cool AI Conqueror blobs on your playthroughs?
This one is pretty solid
Does the Latin Empire get Byzantine casus belli upon forming? Look at this blob
And now, it’s admin time
Shoutout u/Ferseivei for helping me achieve this
What is a habit you do consistently in all your playthroughs, even if you don't plan for it?
For me; no matter where I start I always seem to attack the Byzantines.
I was just thinking about this: In my last 6 playthroughs, I have warred the Byzantines in 4. And usurped the title in 3 of those. An Ivar Start, A Mongol Start and a Saladin start. Huh...
What name have you chosen for the Byzantines in your playthroughs?
Administrative Mongol Empire ended like this
How are you people finding battles to be like since the update?
Maybe I'm a tad rusty or bad but I feel like I need to be way more measured in battles ever since the update.
Late game I am stacking either heavy infantry/ horsemen, maybe a stack of crossbows and then the siege weapons, as I've always done. I find myself losing more than I remember, especially in enemy territory. Less so in my own.
Can anyone resonate? Or is this a skill issue?
