Hello, I have an RP in mind set in an apocalyptic world. The setting will have fantasy elements, including magic. The details of the plot are below. A few notes of my writing style, I tend to write two paragraphs of around 3-5 sentences, yet I am able to adapt to particularly upward. If you are interested either DM me or comment below. Also note that this RP may have some horror elements including body horror.

Preface:
It all happened in a frenzied blur. A new disease which researchers found, but couldn’t treat. Then the disease infected a large chunk of the population quickly spreading world wide. After that, the infected began to die too quickly for the hospitals and cemeteries to handle so few were able to be buried. Those bodies that weren’t buried, soon started twitching and moving once again. After just a month, the first city fell and that started a chain of events that caused many others to fall as well. 

After just two more months, many of the major cities around the world have fallen causing civilization to collapse. When the fifth collapsed, the last defenders of the city reported that they could see someone commanding the undead. Treating them as if they were but puppets. Many didn’t believe it at first. But then that person was seen again in a different city just a week later. Then again at a third city, no one could deny it at that point. 

This individual was known as the Queen of the Apocalypse. For her control over the undead, as well as the fact that she was seen to be treating her destroyed city as her kingdom for a time before moving on. It took only six short months for human civilization to collapse, and for the world to change forever. During that time, the Queen of the Apocalypse has been seen time and time again. Her reputation as a myth has spread throughout the world. Along with the fact that the undead have been seen transforming as well as some retaining their intelligence, but gaining total loyalty to her. 

After most of humanity has been consumed or turned, the Queen of the Apocalypse has remained as the leader of the undead. Using them to destroy the most powerful of the colonies of humanity. Yet almost always leaves survivors, some of which she prevents from leaving. All of these have caused divided groups to form among humanity, the two major groups have formed among humans. 

The first is a militarist group who work to safeguard humanity and ensure the survival of its remaining colonies. This group has the best of the world’s remaining warriors, arms and equipment. But even that isn’t enough for when the queen comes especially with her experiments.

The second group is, for lack of a better term, a cult around her. They believe that she will bring upon the ascension of humanity as a species. Culling the weak and leaving the strongest and smartest to rule along with her. When she inevitably comes to wherever they are, they will readily throw themselves into the horde getting torn apart and eaten. Those who get to see her with their own eyes, have the chance to be spared and transformed into one of her experiments.

Character:
She is a tall and strong woman with a perpetually serious expression on her face. Her nails have been sharpened into weaponized claws. Along with strange tattoos and scars along her body which seem to mostly follow her blood vessels. While initially she is very cold and dangerous. Once she’s taken a liking to someone, she can be very protective of them, even gentle with them or possessive over them. The gentler side of her is something very few get the chance to see of her. 

Beginning:
The story we shall write begins soon after a horde of undead is approaching a city where your character is within. (Whether your character is a cultist, a researcher, warrior, or something else is up to you.) The destruction of the city is a certain thing, you and everyone else know it. But, the city is trying its best to save who they can and defend for as long as possible.

Yet, it is only a matter of time until the undead make it over the walls that the city has put up to defend itself. As they do, the refugees within the city know that it will be their last moments alive one way or another. This becomes more certain as the people around you spot Her, the Monarch. The undead spread out as her silent commands, killing and feasting upon the flesh of the living.

Her cold eyes look over the environment, seeming almost to glow faintly as a faint hum fills the air. That gaze turns curious as it lands upon you, as it sees something which is not obvious to others. The predatory grin that comes to the monarch’s lips sends shivers down your spine as the undead move around her.

Additional, due to the relationship of our characters, my own being the Queen of the Apocalypse and yours being a Herald, a creation of hers. The Monarch will have some ability to control your own, I won't use this often and it will mainly be in the form of rules. The primary rule being that your character is not able to physically harm the Monarch in any way. Just a bit of a warning.
