Progress update on my CK big 40k comeback!
Made a post few months ago now explaining how I'm making a comeback to 40k after 25+ yrs, last playing in 2nd Edition back in the 1990's!
And returning an beginning to catch up with the world of 40k in 2020 lockdowns, with endless YT lore vids, catching up on the insane developments in the tabletop and amazing quality of modern minis etc!..
And also enjoying dozens of 40k audio books and the top tier videos games in the IP we're finally blessed with like Rogue Trader & Darktide, not janky little indie studio efforts anymore etc etc!..

After years of wanting to but overthinking it, finally re-entering the tabletop side of the hobby!..
After piecing together tools an supplies for a few months, and fully committing by buying 1700pts of CK kits, posting pictures of my pile of kits!..
I finally got started building an crafting them..
Couple good build sessions most weeks since then, an even though i haven't even picked up brush or airbrush yet..
Wanted to show the group my progress so far as I'm pretty happy with how it's coming along!..
Every kit, all weapon options, heads/torsos..
Everything all magnetised etc..
After careful start, confidence grew massively, to point i was even coming up with a few custom solutions to things like the Abominant tail and covering the hole when not in use etc..
Getting close to beginning an exploring the even more complex painting side of things soon now nearly all built etc..
Have been enjoying it all massively so far.. Has been so satisfying seeing it all come together..
