Wonder Godmother

What I'm about bring up is a major What-If in the DC Universe that I don't think has been explored, but I also wanna make one thing clear, this is NOT related to Flashpoint. I've been an exploring a Batman idea that asks the question of "What if one parent lived and became a widowed single mom Batwoman?" The idea I'm having for Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor (who would be Aquaman) is to have them be the co-founders of a Justice League that is geared towards helping to maintain the protection of the planet and its citizens.

Not only that, but they would also be in a loving marriage and their union would help unify their respective kingdoms. Now their story would be similar to the 2017 movie, but Diana's mother, Hippolyta would've been the one killed and Steve would've survived that plane explosion (with help from a Green Lantern). They would still be appearing young by 1989, when Bruce Wayne, Selina Kyle, Clark Kent and Lois Lane are born, but I haven't figure out that immortality trope yet. And to give a brief explanation of how Martha would become Batwoman, it would stem from Thomas dying on the night that Bruce is born.

Now my title should explain to you that both Wonder Woman and Aquaman would be the oldest members in the entire Justice League, but that would also not stop them from bonding with the four children, nor would it step them from taking in Kara Zor-El as a potential protege (who would appear along with her baby brother and not be trapped in a time freeze). I visualize them teaching the children how to fight and also teach them things that would be more advanced than public schools would teach you.

But with a unified kingdom, comes a world that has created technology more advanced than what "Man's World" would have created and one piece of that tech would involve nanotechnology that Thomas Wayne developed, bonds with Martha, and creates her Batwoman suit.

What do y'all think of that world?

Los Angeles question

It's mostly related to their live show versions of that song, when I heard it on their live album it was performed at a lower pitch than the studio version. While I'm not one to tell an artist how they should perform their song, I'm not real wild about pitch changes at a concert, unless it makes sense.

But in the case of Los Angeles, I sometimes play it alongside a country music love song as if I'm doing a playlist for a wedding reception. But if I were to hear Los Angeles live, I know that it would sound different than what was on the studio album.

Has there ever been an explanation for that?

Martha Wayne meets her Prime Children

Not that I'm gonna do any "Crisis-style" crossovers or anything like that, but seeing as how it's Mother's Day today, I wanted to explore where my version of Martha Wayne meets the prime version of her son, Bruce Wayne.

Inspiration I got from this is from Fire Emblem: Awakening, where Chrom meets his future daughter, Lucina and apologizes for the suffering she went through. I could see my version of Martha doing the same thing.

Martha Wayne adopted Selina Kyle as a newborn, after losing her birth mother in childbirth. In honor of Mother's Day, she meets the prime version Selina, who only knew of Bruce's parents in pictures.

In my universe, Martha gives Selina the same amount of love that she gives her son, Bruce.

Martha Wayne as the Batwoman

So as I mentioned before my project is gonna revolve around the idea of "What if one parent lived?" I already have a prologue story written which involved Thomas Wayne fighting crime as The Gray Ghost and hunting down the killer of Martha and Ellen's parents and taking them in as his god-daughters. (Inspiration for that story came from Night of The Stalker and The Dark Knight Returns).

Without getting into too much detail, I'm having trouble with what to put in for Martha's first case as the Batwoman. I've read movie novels, read some well-known Batman comics (Year One, Earth One, The Long Halloween, etc.) and even watched some episodes of Batman: The Animated Series. I may have some ideas on what story to go with, but maybe you guys might have some recommendations on what you would see in a story of Martha Wayne as Batwoman.

Adopted siblings to lovers trope

So to let spoil what I'm writing, I've been working an idea for Batwoman that asks the question of "What if one parent lived?" and became a widowed single mom Batwoman. From the very beginning, I was going to ship Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle together, but I was also gonna have Martha adopt Selina as a baby, because her birth mother died in child-birth.

As time goes on, Selina finds out about her adoption and is starting to have feelings about the boy who should be her brother, and Martha would be supportive of an eventual romantic relationship between the two.

But whenever I bring this idea up to my Batman peers, they sort of tense up and become uncomfortable with it. Technically it's not illegal, because they are not related by blood, and they are having a consensual relationship.

Have any of you been having similar issues?
