Pretty sure I’ve been skipping half my back for 4 months, right?

ok so i need some outside opinions before i convince myself i’m doing fine.

stats are 6 foot, 71kg, been training 4 months on an upper/lower split, 4 days a week. diet is pretty clean, lots of protein, vegetables, rice, eggs. don’t track macros, never had the patience for it.

work out structure is just progressive overload. log every set on my phone, try to beat the last session by a rep or some weight. lower body has been the best part by a mile, squat and leg press both keep going up and i can actually see the difference in my quads and glutes now.

upper body is the issue. chest press is fine, slowly going up. back and shoulders feel like they’ve barely moved. lats are basically not there and rear delts the same. i think i’ve been doing way too much pressing and not enough rowing or pulling stuff in general.

on the diet side, no macro tracking probably means i’m eating less than i think. i’m pretty lean already at this weight so any growth is going to need more food, just don’t know if i have the discipline for it.

what i want to know:

•	strongest area
•	weakest area
•	should i start tracking macros or is it overkill at this stage

go in.

If you were my trainer, what would you have me work on next?
