Im new. A member texted me to meet, is this normal?
Edit: question answered thanks everyone can never be too careful today.
I just joined the DSA after the NY primaries. Now ive received a text from someone claiming to be with my local chapter who wants to meet 1:1. Is this normal? They knew the local chapter meeting times but cant be too safe that there isn't some right wing op machine intercepting members or anything else sketchy
