Is anyone else applying anywhere in southern california to entry level to associate public health positions and getting notice the position has been outright cancelled? Is this the new way of letting people down easy, or is healthcare going through an extra tough patch right now? Feeling so discouraged tbh just looking for anyone going through the same thing.
Edit: I understand it might just be my unfortunate luck, but this isn’t the last time I’ve job searched in the last three years and Ive never witnessed this to this level.
So I’ve been prozac for about three to four months, up to 40mg but my depressive symptoms aren’t really improving so my doctor has prescribed me 10mg of lexapro and I’m SCARED. For the most part, prozac had limited side effects for me, especially a few months into it; however, I’m so scared of the weight gain side effect after losing a healthy amount of weight on prozac, im also scared of the shorter half life that lexapro has and how intense i’ll have to be with remembering my dose. Does anyone have any words of wisdom or experienced the switch from prozac to lexapro? a
Anything different I should anticipate?
I know these medications are different for everyone but Im so bummed prozac wasn’t working for me considering the side effects were so few.
With dudinha and armstrong both on sei now im feeling like we’re missing a bit of depth in our roster. We’re really going to feel their collective loss, especially since we felt armstrong’s absence through the beginning of the season. I’m hoping the wave has a plan moving forward (which I’m sure they do, I just want to know what it is lol).

Hey all! I want to get a phd for communication. A lot of advice I see on this sub is for STEM subjects, but there isn’t much for other areas.
For anyone who has looked into a non-STEM phd program, have you found anything different in the way applications work, especially in expectations?
I would be coming in with a BA in communication, a little research experience, and a focused research area. Should I go for it? get a masters first? try for more research experience?
Any and all insight is welcome!!
