Help with GPO 746

I’ve got a GPO 746. I can’t dial out but I’m getting an adaptor for that so it’s a non-issue.

Anyway, I’ve always been able to receive calls. Today, I answered the phone, and I couldn’t hear anything other than a vibrating tone every few seconds. I put the phone down, it was still ringing.

Anyway, unplugged it, waited a minute and rang it off my mobile. Picked up the handset and I noticed it was still ringing on my phone, and that sound again was playing in the ear piece. Like a chirping sound in place of the bell.

Anyway, hung up on my phone. Lifted the receiver to my ear, all I could hear was a hiss. No dial tone at all.

Opened it up, checked the switch under the plungers. No issue there.

Any ideas? I’ve attached pictures.

SPOILER ALERT

I watched the episode that has been released today.

I’ll be frank, I’m not liking the production method and the way it has been filmed. The music being slotted over scenes. It’s like it’s trying to be an episode of Hollyoaks and I’m just not a fan.

An example, when Denise is taking the bus home, the music over it was just out of place for EastEnders and then with the compilation of everyone at the wedding etc… idk it just didn’t sit right with me.

Galatians 1:8

For the record, I am a devout Roman Catholic. I’ve spoken with LDS missionaries in my local area here in the UK before, mainly out of interest and to better understand what members of the LDS Church believe.

One verse I’ve always been curious about from an LDS perspective is Galatians 1:8.

ESV-CE:
“But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed.”

KJV:
“But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.”

Given that the Book of Mormon is understood within LDS belief to have been revealed through an angel, how does the LDS Church understand this verse, and why is the Book of Mormon not seen as contradicting this teaching?
