Are these mites? Cat mites or rodent mites?

There are thousands of these things in my house right now. We first noticed them the other day. My wife mentioned she couldn't really sleep at night because she was so itchy. I thought it was weird because I wasn't itchy at all and had no bugs on me. She then noticed a bunch on her hand and thought maybe they were nesting in her phone case. But last night, our cat that usually sleeps on her slept on me, and sure enough, I woke up all itchy. And then I found dozens of these on myself. They're tiny specks and super hard to see, even when you're looking for them. But now that I go back to where our cats usually nap and hang out, I notice there are hundreds in those spots, still kicking around. They don’t jump or bite, they just constantly move around.

Video of a few on me is here: https://www.reddit.com/r/catcare/comments/1tfkfg4/are_these_fleas_mites

Seem far too small for fleas ticks or bedbugs. Bird/rodent mites, or cat mites? These are indoor cats, but we did let them out in the park five weeks ago for about 20 minutes.

Are these fleas? Mites?

Wife started seeing these all over her last few days, and she’d wake up itchy at night. Usually one of our cats sleeps on / next to her, but tonight he slept on me, and I woke up itchy / have these all over.

They seem too small to be fleas? And they aren’t jumping or biting, just running around. Can crush fairly easy with a finger. I’ll buy a flea comb today and see what I can comb out of the cat.

These are indoor cats, 8 months old, but we did have them outdoors in the grass once 5 weeks ago. The cat that I think might be carrying these is bright white (but super fluffy), I would think I would see these black specks easily on him but I don’t.
