Hello everyone, on Friday I found one live bed bug crawling on my shirt while sitting in my living room. Later on after work I got started doing research and and the proper steps to hopefully get rid of these things fast. Here are the steps im taking. I have encased all the beds in the house with zip up protectors and have placed interceptors on all bed legs and moved beds atleast 6 inches from the walls. I have started the process of washing and drying just about everything that can be on hot water and 45 min in the dryer at high heat. Anything that can not be dried I have steamed. Ive started to steam treat around all the baseboards in the bedrooms and will be steaming the couch and recliner tonight. I have crossfire and cimexa dust on the way. Is there any other tips or tricks I may be missing? So far no bites that I know of i see some people dont have reactions. So far as of the past two days if cleaning ive found 1 more alive and about 6-10 molts. Thank you in advance for all your help. This is really weighing on me mentally and extremely hard for my toddler with autism losing access to some of her toys during this time.

Good afternoon, ive tried doing some research before coming here but ive had no luck. Ive always wanted a kitchenaid and finally decided to buy a unit second hand off marketplace. The model on the side is a K5SS the issue i am having is the paddle will not reach the bottom. I have tried using the adjustment screw but with no luck. I tossed a dime in the bowl but its probably an inch or so still away from the bottom. Please if you have any ideas please let me know. Im starting to suspect the attachments that came with this unit may be wrong. It came with a paddle,hook and whisk.
