Got some days off work, and just got paid. They both look super sick (I just found out about both of them recently). A lot of souls likes don’t have that same charm, but mortal shell 2 looks really unique and polished honestly. And astral chain looks super unique with engaging combat. I’ve seen good reviews for both!
I’ve been playing pigface (highly recommend) and the sniping is quite fun. Not the most fluid but it made me want to play other games with sniping. Not necessarily games about sniping tho. Snipers elite for some reason never did it for me lol. Even better if it’s got stealth! Makes me feel badass to sneak around and shoot 14 people without anyone knowing haha
Been a minute since I personally played a good story driven game, and I have my eye on one of these. Haven’t played too many rpgs or jrpgs but just tell me what you liked about each. The artstyle and fantasy looks fun in both, and they both look like they have engaging combat. Which has the better story?

I go to a lot of things, but sometimes, like tomorrow, I just don’t feel like going. I don’t wanna socialize and see everyone and be out in the heat. It’s my day off and I planned to do some cleaning and taking it easy after my work week which took a toll on me. I think Thosre all valid reasons, however I still get a bit of FOMO and feel like a loser that I wanna skip. I’m also not the type that’s like “wow, I’m glad I went”. I just don’t feel like socializing is all. And it’s mostly the older adults that are going, so I don’t care to chat with them.
Now that the hypes kinda died down, I wanna try to get a real answer on whether or not I should buy this game. I do love fantasy, I love exploration like Skyrim, BOTW etc. I don’t mind that there’s no story, as sometimes I have a game (like saros) where I just turn on some music and game away. Combat looks fun and all but I either see people love it or despise it. Which is it for you? I’m leaning towards getting it.
(But rhythm fever also comes out 🫣)
