AIO boyfriend of 6 years is planning a guys trip to Thailand

My (23F) boyfriend (24M) of 6 years is planning a guys trip to Thailand for a week. My boyfriend and I have been talking about going to Italy someday for 5 years and it has never left just talks. Now he has a scheduled trip to Thailand with “just the boys” for a week in September (leaving the day after my birthday). Honestly, I would love to go to Thailand someday and would love it even more to experience it with him. I am extremely upset and just wondering if I’m over reacting.
