EU pet passport - US to Germany to Cyprus

Hi guys, I could not find the answer so far so here is my post:

I will be flying from the US to Frankfurt airport in a few months, bringing my dog with me in the hold. We then want to continue our journey to Cyprus (the EU part, not the occupied part), as we are moving there. I am German and have family in Germany and we want to spend a few weeks with them. In the meantime, I plan on getting the EU pet passport in Germany, as I am still a German resident.

  1. Will the pet be revaccinated for the pet passport? We are getting her shot in the US about two months before the flight, so it should still be valid for 10 months after.

  2. When we get the EU pet passport, do we need to wait 21 days for it to be valid? Or will it be valid right away, given we are coming from the US with our health certificate and all? If so, I would only stay for 2 weeks and book the second leg of the trip rather sooner than later.

  3. Someone told me I could have the USDA health certificate signed off by customs and I would be allowed to travel by plane throughout EU for about 4 months? Is this true? Or will German airlines to Cyprus only accept the EU pet passport?

  4. Lastly, if anyone can recommend a good vet around FRA airport or close to Trier, Germany, who can do the EU pet passport, I would be grateful.

Thanks for the answers!

Punched in the face and phone robbed

Posting this here because someone suggested it may have been a psychic attack. About a week ago I was walking my dog on my normal neighborhood walk in Brooklyn. I was punched in my face three times and my phone was stolen by a random street gangster in a safe neighborhood. Guy was caught two days later and is now in jail. Do you think this was just a freak accident or was it something darker, such as a psychic attack by someone who hates me? I'm still a bit in pain and lost 2.5 years worth of photos I forgot to back up. Other than that, I am fine.

Punched in the face and phone stolen - is it transits? [astro-seek.com]

I was punched in the face three times and then my phone was stolen about a week when I was out walking my dog. The guy was a random street gangster. He was arrested two days later and is now in jail, awaiting trial.

Is it my current transits? My timelord for the year ahead is Mars but I've never had this happen to me, not even 12 years ago when it was also Mars.

Thanks. I've attached the current transits and also birth chart.

I was robbed on my moon DC line (under sun IC influence)

I have lived on my moon DC line for the past 16 years (NYC). It is still under the influence of my sun IC line (in the orb radius), as well. About a week ago on 4th of July weekend I was punched in the face and had my phone stolen by a street gangster. This has never happened to me here before. Now I am wondering what's going on - was it just a freak show, is it personal transits? I do believe my current timelord for the year ahead is Mars, which doesn't make things easier. I have also attached my birth chart.

I want to add I have always felt comfortable and at home here. A month before this I was full-on on my sun IC line further down in the Caribbean. I loved that place but the sun showed the good and bad in a bright light (the corruption of the place but also nice beaches). Perhaps I was still carrying that sun line ego with me?

(I've attached birth chart and transits at the time of the attack and robbery).

Moving to Paphos, how much savings for 1 single person?

This autumn I am moving to Paphos with my pet. I am one person and will be looking to rent either a 1 or 2-bedroom apartment. Together with utilities and groceries, what is a realistic monthly spend for late 2026 and on? I will have around 2.500 - 2.700 Euro available to me every month (work-from-home).

I heavily depend on Internet, which I saw prices varying from 35-80 Euro per month. Ideal speed for me is around 500mb/s. I am likely going to rent a car monthly, I think you can get one for 500-600 euro already. Until I settle in, that is.

Rental prices have gone up a lot in the past 3 years I've been monitoring this. I plan on spending around 900 Euro for an apt or house. But have seen them more along 1.200 lately. My pet is a well-behaved medium-sized dog.

How much does one person spend on monthly groceries (normal diet)? And are the other costs still realistic in today's time?

Aruba for six days - good places to eat (budget friendly, too)?

I will be in Aruba in June for around six days. It will be my first time and I am so excited! I have not planned anything out yet at all, am more of a go with the flow person.

Where can I eat breakfast, lunch and dinner? Some will be budget friendly, some meals I plan on splurging. I will be staying close to Eagle Beach and Oranjestadt, so if you have any particular recs in those areas - even better.

Also, what type of activities can you recommend? I don't drink much alcohol, I don't care for scuba diving, I do like snorkeling, I also love hiking. I plan on filling up at least 2-3 days with activities, other than the beach.

( I have been to other parts in the Caribbean, entire Central American and also Colombia. The climate / area is not foreign to me.)
