Specifically Cad heavy roles? Been working as a PM in construction management for a while, plenty of hands on time in the trades/ oil and gas, very familiar with how things work.

Also pretty good with CAD.

Been eyeballing some J2s for just CAD, one specifically asks for LI. Is there anyone outsourcing J2s? I feel like I can turn over a lot of J1 wishlist work, and all J2 work, to someone else, and review and do my final edits. J1 is basically email pushing and monitoring contractors who self perform.

Im 2 years into deep foundations as an FE but my background is oil and gas service work and welding. Thought the Kiewit Industrial interview went well and the estimator liked that I could pass a combo weld test, no update since then. Hundreds of applications for other civil work and zero calls back. Recruiters wont help because I had already applied to all of their clients. Id like to get into pipeline or plant work to be back in Texas.

Where else do I look? Is it that slow right now?
