3 pedal and bench

How important is it for a piano to have a bench and 3 pedals?
This is for a piano loving 7 year old kid.
We have a keyboard now and want to upgrade to 88 keys with weighted keys and a pedal.
We saw a few in stores who said they can buy ours for a new one.
There are few Yamaha and Roland brands on sale.
Im not that familiar but they are around four hundred and fifty(without bench)-six hundred and fifty(with bench) but no pedal.
Our piano teacher said to look for a 3 pedal.
Please advise.

Baby grand piano-7 year old

We bought a basic Yamaha electric keyboard for my kids last December just for them to enjoy during holidays and they immediately started playing jingle bells, happy birthday, lil lamb and so on within a week. My elder one was 8 then and younger was 6. My elder one was taught how to read music in school when they were teaching recorder in music class. She taught my younger one how to read music and they both picked it fast playing several tunes. They were learning from YouTube reels apparently. They finally asked me to get simple piano subscription for some serious learning. I bought it and my younger one showed a lot of interest in playing from the app. She is now playing with both hands and reading music and unlocked some music in app.
I put her for classes with a piano teacher 2 weeks back since she was serious about learning and I wanted her to learn properly. Piano teacher is still accessing her. 1st week the teacher skipped basic book to teach how to read music. 2nd week she skipped basic book since my kid was playing using both hands.
Infact before enrolling her with a teacher, she used to play atleast 2hrs a day using the app.

So my question here is one family posted they are moving out of state and they are giving away a baby grand Bush and Gerts. Should I take it is my question? I have space in my house for it. But is it worth moving cost (which I do not know how much it would cost to move 5 miles away). And tuning costs? And my kid for her age now (7 years old) if she is serious to continue learning and enjoying (she is very excited to want that now ofcourse). Please suggest anything to look for if the comments say to get it.

I have asked them if they get it tuned regularly and their piano technician is the same person who tunes my kid’s piano teachers baby grand. So teacher says it must me good if that person tunes it. So she feels confident to get it.

Recital

My kid (7 year old) started learning piano all by herself from Simply Piano app from last couple of months now and she is now in advanced level 1. She can read the notes and able to understand lay fine. I want to expose her to any audience so she can use her learning to overcome the shyness and fear of stage or people around. She is a kid with selective mutism so not comfortable with people around.

Since we are not with any teacher we do not get to do a recital.
Are there any resources that I can take her to show off her learnt skills?
We live in Southern California.
