My Wife has began to show an interest in Photography so I have bought her an beginners experience day with a local photographer for a Christmas present.

I also want to gift her a Camera but I have no interest in the subject and have spent the last couple of weeks going round in circles looking at suitable cameras.

The 2 that have come up often are Fujifilm x-t30 iii and Nikon Z fc, are these great picks for her?

She loves a retro look so visually they fit the bill.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The budget is around 1k.

Totally had it with this car (Americas Cup Edition 2.0 tsi 265bhp)

So many software issues especially the mad android auto/ samsung s26 ultra connection issues.

It spent 48 hours with them to try and cure the mental for no reason emergency brake issue.

It came back cured with that issue but introduced the no connect to android auto.

Love the looks and driving but hate the software and terrible Cupra customer service.

Spending £50k+ should get you some kind of higher level customer service but you really getting SEAT cheap end service.

Can't ever talk direct to local dealer over the phone you always have to go through national hub that seem to block you at every turn actually talking to the dealer who sold you the car in the first place.

And of course the real stinker is the depreciation is HUGE but we are taking it just to get away from this car its issues.

Anyone else having issues?

Both me and the wife's phones (S26 ultra) having nightmare connection issues. They sometimes work perfectly then get out the car and go shopping and get back in and they won't connect. Tried switching off Bluetooth on one phone so they aren't competing for connection.

Tried deleting everything etc. etc.

Anyone have had issues and found a workround.

Our dealer is miles away and frankly not great anyway.

Model is 25 plate 2.0 tsi America's Cup.

I’ve given the new American Football LP4 a fair run now, and honestly it’s not landing for me.

There are flashes of what I like, but track after track I keep getting pulled out of it by the arrangements — overly busy drums, extra layers that don’t add much, and some basslines that just feel off (Blood on My Blood especially). Instead of elevating the songs, it often feels like clutter.

It's like it’s trying too hard.

I’ve been a big fan of Mike Kinsella’s work for years, so this isn’t coming from nowhere. If anything, that’s why it hurts so much to say this.

Right now it feels like their weakest record by a distance.

Interested to hear if it’s working better for others.
