What actually made the biggest difference to your progress early on?

I’m a couple of years into working now and have only recently started taking saving and investing a bit more seriously. At the moment I’m putting away around £300–£350 a month, nothing crazy, but trying to stay consistent and build the habit.

The thing I keep getting stuck on is how much time to spend optimising vs just sticking to the basics. It’s easy to go down the rabbit hole comparing platforms, fees, different setups, etc. But then part of me feels like at this stage, just increasing income and staying consistent probably matters way more than getting every detail perfect. For those further along, what actually made the biggest difference for you early on?

Are fertility monitors actually better than just OPKs + temping?

I’ve been looking into things like fertility monitors lately and I’m honestly a bit confused about where they fit in. Right now I’m using OPKs and trying to temp, not super consistently tbh, and I kind of understand what’s going on, but I wouldn’t say I feel confident.

When I look at monitors like Inito, Mira, etc, they seem more precise, but also more expensive and like another thing to manage daily. For people who’ve tried both, did switching to a monitor actually make things clearer? Or is it more of a nice to have if you’re already tracking other ways?

Trying to figure out a staking setup that doesn’t turn into a full-time job.

Feels like the options are either: leave it on an exchange (easy but risky), or go full DeFi with multiple apps, wallets, validators, etc. which gets complicated fast.

Been looking at different wallets.

Is something like tangem or ledger a solid option for simple staking, or do you end up needing extra tools anyway?
