Pittsburgh Poetess Rachel Ann Bovier Wrote a Poem for My Local Dive Bar
I'm sad that I missed her here, but the poem is prominently displayed!

All of the folks who work in and around the baseball stadium were amazing today. I got to hang out around the park before the game while waiting on my friends. Lots of Boston fans and locals enjoyed the pre-game booths. Entry to the park was smooth and efficient.
We were all herded out of the stands due to weather for a couple hours, but the game resumed. The ushers were ready, with towels in hand, to dry any seat since so many went home during the delay.
Thanks Myron, Deedee, Ty, and all the other folks who worked the game today. My friend had her first MLB game experience today, and it was great!
Same size as a "June Bug" or Japanese Beetle, but I've never seen one with stripes like this. I didn't see its wings, but I'd assume they're under the striped carapace.
These flowers grow only in the northern hemisphere They originated in northern Europe, just like Jamie and Claire. Also, like J&C, they were spread and cultivated in north America and beyond by settlers.
When Claire went looking for them at the stones, they'd have been, relatively, recently introduced that far north. She'd likely encountered them while in France or maybe in England.
They thrive in disturbed ground: moist, but full to partial sun. It makes sense that they'd appear where they did.
