What’s this area like for a single female relocating there? Would you consider it safe and well-equipped with facilities? I’m thinking of finding a place along the southeastern line.

I feel like auto mechanics in this country are ripping people off. I recently paid over 1K to fix a coolant issue, and honestly, I have no idea if I was overcharged or not. Do you have any advice? Is there an app or a tool where we can track what needs to be repaired and check estimated prices to see what things actually cost? If it genuinely costs that much, I can accept it; I just hate feeling like I am being scammed.

I am relocating to London in October for a job near London Bridge. With a budget of £1,500/month for a 1-bedroom apartment, which safe areas do you recommend? I want to feel safe walking home from the gym at 10 PM for instance.

The only reason I mentioned it was to give some context for my move:

The Situation: I am relocating to London for work. I don't actually know how long I will be staying yet.

The Context: I've lived abroad before, but I am really not used to a massive city like London.

I am Greek Cypriot and have been applying for many jobs over the past year. When application forms ask me to select the racial or ethnic group I identify with, I never know what to choose. I have always considered myself European, but nowadays I see myself more as Eurasian. What should I select: White, Asian, or Middle Eastern?
