This came up in the Schenectady subreddit but I figure I’d post here since this sub is more active. Last night Guilderland/Rotterdam/Schenectady PDs all had a ton of noise complaints that were like deep bass blasting around 1230-1ish. Wondering if anyone else heard it or anything about it and where abouts?

The Guilderland scanner had them right near the border off Carmen rd, and they seemed to initially think it was a car driving around. Then they switched gears and thought it was in the woods but handed it off to Rotterdam. Crazy thing is people from all over that area reported hearing it possibly miles away.

Anyone else waiting to see what 3rd parties put out for covers for the new editions? I’m thinking I might just to get different colors, logos, and closure systems.

So I was torn between the two. Originally, being on a bit of budget I was going to go with the AP version to save about 100 dollars. However, I noticed something at checkout for both. AP is charging over 12 dollars for shipping whereas WOF is free. So upgrading from the standard AP to the WOF is now only an 8 dollar jump for each book. No idea why AP is charging that much when media mail is an option.

Edit: The full set pre order does in fact have free shipping, but if you opt for the one at a time it charges shipping.
