New pc build wont turn on
Hiii just to be clear im not native english speaker so some wording may look a little off, me and my bf just started to build my pc but when we set power to it nothing happened. Not even a little spin from the fans. The only form of life is my little mouse stand for my wireless mouse that has rgb we have plugged in the back, nothing else.
We tried talking to some other stranger that guided us through taking the gpu/cpu/ram/ssd out and trying to jump start it without those things but still nothing each time. We also checked the wires multiple times. Also we got a little confused on the wires for the turn on button but since we cant jump start it thats not the issue we r looking for.
Everything is brought brand new exept the cpu i brought second hand from a verified retailer, so im pretty sure it had the tests it needed. We also got a little cooling paste on the cpu pins when we took it out by accident but got the most of it off.
We talked about buying a thing were we can check if the motherboard/psu even gets power just to make sure. Also saw someone say u should check it out of the case so that wil probably be our next move.
