The Debt Of Space.

You promised to stand in the storm of my mind,
To help decode the static I leave behind.
"I will never leave," was the anchor you threw,
A beautiful lie I made myself believe was true.
But today the anchor shattered to dust,
Trading your patience for sudden disgust.
A cold rejection disguised as a plea for space,
Leaving me stranded in this suffocating place.
You demand room to breathe while I start to choke,
Watching the promises we built turn to smoke.
The ultimate trap of a trusting mind:
Left to freeze in the space you left behind.
