I have an LG blu ray disc drive, model: WH16NS40.
I’ve plugged it into the back of my pc through a sata/usb-c cord. The light turns on and blinks, but it never opens.

And through windows. It never shows up, nor does it even show dvd/cds Ik the device manager.

I’ve gone to the website to download its driver. However, when attempting to run it. It says ATAPI device can not be found.

I have no clue how to make this drive work or even open.

Every lgs around me has completely sold out of every sos collector packs. So I had to do about an hour drive to another a different city’s lgs just to get one. Wasn’t exactly chasing for anything in particular. I think it was worth it.
