I went to a grocery store yesterday, used self checkout, completed the transaction and got my receipt (so I know the transaction finished). I got the usual text alert for the amount of my purchase. I checked my account this morning and in addition to my ~$80 charge, there is a another one (edit: same store) for $165. I never got a text alert for it. How is that possible? Has this happened to anyone else? I will call CO later this morning but I expect I will have to wait until it goes thru as an actual charge (not just pending) to dispute it. I just find it really really weird that I didn't get a text alert... I've had this card for 5+ years and that has never happened.

My Aldi had a good selection of the perennials today. Many times, the plants are in very bad shape but these hostas look extremely healthy, so I snatched up 3 different varieties for $6.99 each (looks like 1 gallon size).

A week or two ago, I spotted 2 new Bettr Bowls, both breakfast ones with eggs and potatoes. I had the beef birria one last week and it was pretty good, although a bit light on birria. I just had the green chili one and it was VERY good. Not spicy, but it actually had some flavor, enough that I didn't feel like I needed to add anything like I usually do. I hope these stick around! Next time I will probably add a little cooked turkey sausage for a little more protein.
