Monthly statements

I am trying to download a bank statement for the previous month. I choose the account that I want the statement from but it combines all my accounts together. How do I get the information for that one account only. I have a personal reason to not show the other accounts and I can't figure it out. If I can't do it on one account am I allowed to Make a separate login where I can move money to?

Pre-qualified for auto loan

So my car was totaled on the 19th of last month, looking for a new car since I will have to turn my rental in soon and need a way to work. I was prequalified for another auto loan through capital one (who financed my last vehicle) and had a couple of questions since they can still deny me when I go to the dealership and do a hard pull. Since I have good payment history on my cards and auto loan through capital one does that increase my odds of being approved? I recently switched jobs and only have access to one paystub at the moment, possibly two depending on when I actually purchase, will this cause issues? What are the odds of me actually being approved once I get to the dealership, really?

Beware Capital One shopping account termination

So I recently signed up for Capital One shopping- only using it maybe two weeks, and had a $7 balance. I redeemed a $50 off $200 purchase at Home Depot, and the next day I couldn’t sign in. Well, now a week later, I get a termination email. I didn’t do anything inappropriate with the account- hell, I’ve been on Rakuten for forever. I’ve read about other people getting terminated after large bonuses- much larger than mine. There’s zero customer service, so there’s nothing you can do. Just be aware, especially with the high offers, you may never see that credit. (Pathetic email attached).

How can I increase my credit limit with capital one?

I have 4 cards with capital one 2 with 3000 limit and 2 with 300 limit. How can I increase it?

Screwed by COS and Dyson!

I accidentally placed a duplicate order after redeeming this offer on dyson.com. I called Dyson immediately to have the second one canceled and was assured by the rep that it would be canceled, but it wasn't and both orders are now on their way to me. To make things worse, Capital One didn't even flag the first one as eligible. I emailed them and received an canned response that I cannot ask for help until 30 days have passed. At that point, it will be too late to return to Dyson if they don't honor the reward.

I've been screwed by COS and Dyson here. Do I have any recourse?

CLI Method

I would like to ask for a CLI increase. I have had the Savor card for three months Should I call Capital One or is there an online or app method to do this? Does either method affect the approval or amount? Thanks

Convince me to ask for an Increase

Ive had my capital one card since December 2025, Im 18. I originally got the Quicksilver One ( 3k limit with $39 annual fee ). After talking with someone who understands it better than I do. He advised me to ask Capital one to upgrade to the Quicksilver card. They upgraded me to the QS 05/30. so about a month or two ago? I have the same $3,000.00 limit. The Capital one rep i spoke to while requesting the upgrade ( in small talk we got onto the topic of my payment history) They said I had an Excellent payment history And my usage was good too and almost looks intentional? 😂 Anyways, I’ve always heard of requesting an upgrade, but I’ve also been told to let the banks decide if you get one or not. and i just wanna see what the peoples take on this matter is and i need help understanding whats at “risk” from requesting vs. not requesting. and getting accepted vs. getting denied.

Any questions about my finances that are needed to help determine if i should request it or not, are welcome. ASK. Let me know your personal experiences with limit increases and your option on it as well.

Considering Venture X

Hello everyone, I’m considering getting the Capital One Venture X, and one of the biggest reasons is the airport lounge access. I travel pretty frequently, and having a comfortable place to relax with decent food before flights is something I value a lot.
For those of you who have the Venture X, how has your experience been with lounge access? Have you had trouble finding eligible lounges in the airports you travel through, or has it been pretty reliable? How’s the food and overall experience?
I’m also comparing it to the Amex Platinum. I know the Platinum has a much higher annual fee and a larger lounge network, but I’m trying to figure out whether it’s actually worth the extra cost. My goal is to get a card that will realistically pay for itself through the benefits I’ll actually use.
For those who’ve had both, do you think the Venture X is enough for a frequent traveler, or did you find yourself wishing you had the Amex Platinum instead? I’d love to hear your experiences!

Edit: I mainly fly internationally and I am a solo traveler :)

Capital One Travel issue

I have a gap in my schedule next week that lined up pretty well with my family too. My youngest had been asking if we could sneak in a beach trip before she heads back to school so I tried to find a condo option on the Gulf Coast that I could pay for with points.

I'm searching Vacation Stays in the C1 portal and come across five days at a nice condo that checks all the boxes. Rate is great as well so I run it by the wife and pull the trigger. All is well and I received my confirmation from C1.

But, I have yet to receive anything from the condo owner. I've called C1 and they say they've reached out to tell the owner to send the condo details and they have until the day before the booking to do so.

We're now one week before we go and still no contact. They have an email address listed and a phone number and I've reached out to both, nothing.

If I cancel I lose all my points I used to book it. But odds are, this booking doesn't exist and as it seems C1 is using a third party to handle these, I'm kinda stuck....

Any ideas?

Got this offer to upgrade my Platinum. I wanted to go for the Savor but ig it’s not an option. I feel like my Plat is useless now that I have the VX but obviously don’t wanna close it. Which of these two do you think would pair best with my VX? I want to maximize points for travel.

Quicksilver CS Fraud Prevention

I get a $0.01 credit that looks like it comes from a vendor that I have not dealt with for 2 years. I suspect someone is testing to see if the card is active. I lock the card and call Cap One. They say check with the vendor and see what they say. The vendor CS says they don't know anything about a one cent credit and verify no activity on my account in 2 years.

I call Cap One back today and report the problem again expecting them to issue a new card. The CS rep starts listing some dubious reasons why I might get a one cent credit from a historic vendor. I ask for a new card, they say just keep your card locked. I say I have a bunch of regular charges and they will be declined if the card is locked. The CS says unlock the card when you expect these charges?! I tell them I will unlock the card and report any fishy charges and the CS is fine with that.

Credit card companies used to take prompt action when you reported a potential fraud. Have things changed in the last 5 years? I have not had a fraudulent charge since around 2020.

Blocked from sending support message on airbnb regarding refund request? anyone else experience this?

Has anyone dealt with Airbnb support seemingly blocking or disabling your ability to message them during a refund dispute? First they deleted my account entirely and then brought it back, but I can't contact support at all and when I call they put me through multiple different people before telling me to "keep my line open, they will call back in 5 minutes" and then they never call back.

Here's the recap -

I had a 32-night Airbnb reservation in Sayulita, Mexico. When I arrived, the property was way different than advertised and did not feel safe or usable. There was visible moisture issues, mold, odor, and general cleanliness/habitability concerns. I reported the issue to Airbnb immediately and rebooked alternate lodging because I could not stay there.

Airbnb issued only a partial refund, but I am still seeking the remaining $2,063.47. My position is that this was not a normal voluntary cancellation, and that the host’s normal cancellation policy should not apply because the issues were discovered upon arrival and related to the condition of the listing.

I’ve tried to resolve this through Airbnb directly. I called Airbnb six times in one day and was repeatedly told someone would call me back “within 5 minutes,” but no one ever did. I also noticed that the original reservation conversations with the host no longer appear to be accessible in my account.

Then, when I tried to send a formal written refund request through Airbnb’s own support thread, the message failed with a “Message not sent” error. I tried again with just a short “hello??” message, and that failed too. So now I can’t communicate through the support thread at all.

I’ve also been trying to handle this through Capital One. I’ve spent 10+ hours on the phone with Capital One dispute specialists, doing everything they ask me to do, submitting the documentation they request, and trying to follow the process exactly. But then I get an almost immediate letter saying the case is closed, without what feels like a meaningful review of the additional information I provided.

I have screenshots of the failed Airbnb messages, the reservation details, my call logs, the property condition, refund/cancellation records, and documentation from the dispute process. I’m trying to figure out whether Airbnb’s messaging issue is a glitch, a closed/restricted case thread, or whether Airbnb can actually block a guest from messaging support during an active refund issue.

Has anyone experienced anything like this with Airbnb or Capital One? What did you do next? Did calling, escalating to a supervisor, filing a chargeback appeal, arbitration, BBB/consumer protection complaint, CFPB complaint, or anything else actually help?

I’m not trying to avoid the cancellation policy for no reason. I’m asking Airbnb to review this as a guest protection/habitability issue because the property was not in the condition advertised when I arrived, and I could not safely or reasonably stay there. I thought I was covered under AirCover for refund and am confused.

Capital One Shopping - a scam

Made a large purchase based on capital one's 15% cash back offer - no VPNs or other promotions used - shopping trip shows up but no pending rewards - no way to contact their support - I'm filing complaints with the BBB and CFPB.
