I’m sorry if this is all over the place . I’m on mobile and I’m going through it!

I was diagnosed with BV a few weeks ago. I took the prescribed Flagly ( sp?) and it cleared up. Yay!i wanted to just improve my vaginal health and prevent myself from getting BV again so I researched some probiotics/prebiotics in the group and discovered Happy V. Started taking it and noticed an overall improvement. I feel fresh, no discharge , no smell. Yay. Then I noticed that I was getting constipated. That caused a whole lot of issues with Fissures and Hemorrhoids. Which caused me to be in tremendous pain if you could imagine . It’s like I cleared up one issue to have another. Granted I have had a history of this ever since I had my child 13 years ago.

So I started taking miralx to soften things up to avoid pain. I also bought and applied some recti- care for the fissures. I’ve also been right to be mindful of what I eat . I went away for a few days on a trip and didn’t take the happy v for maybe a day? Boom. yeast infection. I haven’t had a yeast infection in about few years, so I was shocked. I get back home ask my doctor for yeast meds. Lo and behold all Kaiser pharmacies is down in my region. I can’t get my meds. I’m hoping to get them today .

I’m also now on my period but noticed that I’m barely bleeding. I wonder if this is because of the yeast infection? My vulva and vagina is so inflamed . Like a dummy ( I think) i inserted a boric acid last night . I was so desperate because I couldn’t get my meds from Kaiser yesterday . I don’t feel worse which is great . But I don’t feel better either .

Anyways , sorry for the long drawn out message . My question is , have any of you experienced constipation while on Happy V? Am I plagued with taking miralx forever ? Should I take only one pill instead of the recommend 1?

I’m also wondering if the recti-care might of trickled down to my vagina and caused the yeast infection ? I’m really not sure . I’ll follow up with my doctor but have been really curious if anyone else has noticed constipation with Happy V.
