Hey guys. I noticed a darker spot on the top right of the radiator after a long ride. I did have to sit in traffic a few times and temps got to 234. But this was maybe 5-10 mins total and temps went right back down as soon I was able to get through traffic.

Bike operating totally normally. Not sure if this is simply water I ran over or if this is coolant etc. any ideas? I touched it and it smells like nothing.

I was also wondering if there is any way to check the coolant level easily on the 1199 models?

From what I can tell Ducati recommend 22nm to mount the triple tree to the fork legs for an 1199. Does anyone know the proper torque spec to tighten the clip on to the fork leg? Thanks!

Hey guys. I have a Ducati 1199R with some pretty rare fairings. They differ slightly in color from the others and the decals are white instead of silver like all other 1199 models. Basically finding an OEM replacement panel would be difficult and very expensive. Finding OEM decals that are white and not silver is also turning out to be impossible.

Somehow one of the “9” letters lifted through the clear coat. There is a decent lip from where it used to be. Maybe 1/2 MM. I have no idea how this happened as I am the second owner.

Since there is a lip where the lettering used to be, do you think I could get some white paint and thin it out somehow and slowly apply with a needle and let surface tension do its thing? Then once dry just hit it with some 2k clear.

If so, any recommendations on paint or easy methods to thin it out?
