2027 Telluride settings?

Hey. My wife got the new telluride SX Xline HEV two weeks ago.

I set my seat / mirror settings to 2 on the door, hoping when I drive it I could open the door and not have to get into a crammed up seat to select my profile on the screen.

These buttons don’t seem to hold memory? Once I do get in and select my profile it seems like it has to think before changing the seat settings.

What are the purpose of the driver seat settings on the door if they don’t automatically change?

In my 2023 Tundra we can hit one or 2 and it’ll change the seat memory despite what profile we select on the screen.

Two Bad Units in a Row

Well, I honestly wanted to love this machine. The multicolor printing is awesome, the overall design is cool despite coming enclosed, and when it works it seems like it can be an incredible platform. But after two units in a row having issues out of the box, I’m pretty frustrated and honestly losing confidence in Snapmaker quality control.

I bought my first unit from Micro Center and within 4 days of ownership it started throwing extruder errors. I went through the Snapmaker wiki and troubleshooting steps for the error code multiple times, tried everything recommended, and nothing fixed it. Ended up returning the machine to Micro Center. Then I waited almost two weeks for them to get another one back in stock. They finally restocked this weekend, so I picked up a replacement hoping the first one was just bad luck.

Got everything assembled today, powered it on, and during the initial calibration/setup it would not detect Tool Head 1 at all. I removed and reinstalled the tool head multiple times, disconnected/reconnected the USB-C cables, rebooted the machine repeatedly, etc. Still nothing.

What made it worse is I could hear a slight rattle inside the head, so I carefully pulled it apart and found that the brand new tool head is physically broken right out of the box.

Now Micro Center is out of stock again, and I’m stuck deciding whether I want to completely repackage and return another machine or deal with warranty support and wait who knows how long for replacement parts on a printer that was defective immediately out of the box.

I really do like the machine itself and the multicolor capability, which honestly makes this even more disappointing. I wanted this to be my next long-term printer, but two defective units back-to-back has me seriously questioning reliability and QC.

Has anyone else had similar issues lately, especially with tool head detection or damaged components out of the box? And for those who went through Snapmaker warranty support, how was the turnaround?
