2021 5.0 with 86,000 miles. First 10R80 so I have no idea what is normal. Shifts butter smooth up shifting and through most downshifts except 4 - 3. That one I feel like 25% of the time as a semi firm shift. Like not a tire chirping violent thing just like a gentle lurch. Doesn’t always happen and usually is during gentle deceleration.

Also noticed it takes longer to go into drive than I’m used to. Like a solid second or so from the time the shifter indicates drive to when I fell 1st engage. Not forever but I’m just not used to having to wait for it on my other vehicles.

I just bought it used so I’m gonna get an OBD2 adaptor and clear learning tables through forscan but I’m wondering what indicates a potential problem and what is just 10 speed weirdness I’m not used to. Thanks!

New to the coyote. Anybody else get some mild tinny clatter at mid rpm’s under load? Could be either a heat shield noise or light spark knock to my ear but guessing the latter. I’ve got 87 in it right now so I’m not super surprised considering this is like a 12 : 1 engine. Worse in sport mode which I’m guessing tweaks timing so I figure is probably knock. Maybe I got a crappy batch of gas too.

Only this tire for some reason other three look great. Tires are 3 years old and sidewall is perfect.
