Looking to do a vacation next year and heard Vietnam is awesome. We've never been to Asia so I was hoping my Reddit friends could steer me in the right direction. Want some fun stuff like music dance, as well as beach, pool and jungle hikes. Please give me your recs if you've been there.

I am hoping to get some honest feedback on the Odyssey movie that just came out. I don't trust much of what I am reading and want to know for sure if I should spend the money to see the film. I don't trust Rotten tomatoes or the other film review sites anymore. I have been burned too many times.

Everything I have read so far is very conflicting. I just want to know if it was fun to watch and whether I should see it in the theatre or just wait for it on streaming. Thanks for your assistance.

The sequel to Empire of Silence takes off at a meandering pace. It took me a while to really get invested in this book, but once you do it sets a frenetic pace. Amazing universe building with a fair bit of science that makes you want to sit the book down and wonder if this is the direction humanity is headed. I love the internal dialogue and the continued character build of Hadrian who although troubled has enough endearing qualities to make you root for him. I love the style of the writing, immersive and the suddenly pulls you out by addressing you as the reader. So unique. Already ordered the third in the Series Demon in White and would recommend this book to any sci fi/fantasy fans. One note I would make is that this book requires patience and could put off those looking for a more superficial experience.

Looking for a good thriller to listen to on vacation. Something along the thread of Dean Koontz without going to dark. Something with a bit of mystery that isn't too easy to predict. I love supernatural as well. No Stephen King but similar would be nice. Thanks for the help
