Can i still use this 21700 cell? (Don t want to burn house down)

I accidentally shorted this LG21700M50U cell with a magnet for about 1,5 sek. It got hot ~50° and it smells very lightly burnt. It still reads about 3.55V on the voltmeter. I do not know waht the white stuff is but i guess its silicon seal. Can someone help me?

Hi everyone,
this is my first PCB using an STM32 (STM32F405). I’ve finished the schematic and started working on the layout, but it’s not complete yet.

I’d really appreciate it if you could take a look and point out any mistakes or things I should improve before I continue. Thanks in advance!
