The first season was so incredible, and Magneto's scenes in season 2 were iconic for a myriad of reasons. The original thoughts on the '97 Magneto were so mixed, but I genuinely think it will be looked back upon with love in time. Thoughts?

I think it looks pretty clean with black cannon covers, and potentially more accurate to a Naval Frigate? The red railing pieces will be soon changed to gold and I have a set of sails on order. Is the black a yay or nay?
It cannot be overstated how good this is as a representation of a Frigate. The Black Pearl is a fantastic representation of a Galleon, but this is a near-perfect Frigate. It will look even better as a proper Royal Navy ship as an antagonist to the Pearl (coming soon)
The battle between the Fortuna and the Pearl will be Legendary.
Finished Barracuda Bay this past week, I was so close to converting it into the ship but it just looks so good with Thieves of Tortuga!
Anybody else super stoked at finally being able to obtain the proper feather colour for Angelica? Notoriously most of her figures on the aftermarket have them missing!
I have the opportunity to buy one of either Pirates of Barracuda Bay, at £300 Gbp sealed, or the Frigate Fortuna Sealed for £400 Gbp sealed.
I missed out on the Fortuna when it was available as I was travelling at the time. However I have got the Tortuga set (best pirate set i've ever built) and also did manage to snag the Coconut Cape, looking forward to November for that.
So basically, two of the greatest Pirate sets ever released. I am conflicted!
Version 1 of my Isla De Muerta extention, intended to eventually become a full baseplate module of my Caribbean Seascape project.
I know not technically pirates, but I always had the dream of creating a massive Carribean Seascape and connecting them together- including the Thieves of Tortuga and Ominous Isle, as well as Barracuda Bay when I get it. In-between will hopefully be whole baseplates of just Caribbean Sea with a few details, encapsulating the vastness of the oceans. Then a few random coves etc, leading to tortuga eventually.
I probably need to get some trans wedge plates to better denote waves, but i am happy with this first section. Has anybody who has done this got any advice?
