Mould, should we leave ?

Hi guys after advice and opinions!

Should I suck it up and just find another place! Or see it through another year? I don’t know my other options.

The property manager is so kind and lovely, but this is fucked.

Context:

In the last 2 months we’ve had black yellow and blue mould show up in our apartment. Lots of furniture, items and clothing has been lost in the process.

I’ve contacted property manager 3 times about perhaps getting screens or something else to help with ventilation as it’s definitely a ventilation and humidity issue

We are also unable to run the ac rn due to black mould in it.

On our behalf;

we have 2 air purifiers and lots of moisture absorbers throughout

Landlord; got someone in to scrub walls and not an actual assessment, just bleach and a bucket.

is going to fix rusted (1cm open) bathroom window.

(The mould has come back since, a few times).

We’ve not had the screens or anything else been mentioned since the times i’ve asked,

They want us to renew,

barriers to not renew are that we have a cat and i’m a student and so my income isn’t great. I’m also in the final trimester of my uni so lots to toss up energy and time wise

What do you guys think?

Semaglutide for only 2 months?

Any opinions would be awesome!

I’ve just begun, 5 days in.

My dr is keen for me to go from 180lb to about 155lb,

she says our plan is to only be on semiglutide for 2 months staying on the original 0.25 dose..

i’m also injured so it’s difficult to get more than 5k steps a day

Is this drop possible safely? Or is she just being quite optimistic haha

More context:

My injury should hopefully subside in 2 months or just less than, so she’s wanting to take me off of semiglutide then and maintain the supposed achieved 155lb without med.

It’s not my plan but hers,

I was hoping you guys could help me so I can be better sure of myself from your own experiences, then when I see her next i’ll question what she has planned -

it’s intimidating when i’m young and not a professional.

Edit again - are some people on it forever? Isn’t that insanely expensive to upkeep omg

Would love advice and opinions! 23/F

Hi! I’m 23/F

Am I cooked? What changes have you made day to day to help yourself cope with this?

What jobs do people have that you can actually keep and doesn’t cause pain? Obviously not what i’m doing. Need to pivot big time, thinking HR or WHS funnily enough.

Background info:

My mum has pars & spond, my grandma also had spond.

I do repetitive lifting:( and bending twisting etc the lot for my job. I obviously need to quit, it fluctuates pain time to time sometimes to the point i’m having to take 2 weeks off and struggle to dress myself without crying.

I’m pretty fit - I don’t run due to the pain I get but walking is usually fine.

But I do have 1cm difference in leg lengths, scholiosis, and hyper- mobility. These obviously play into this issue aswell as work.

First time Tretinoin 0.05%, helppp

Hi guys!

I’m a bit confused because most of my research of others experience says to go fairly slow (5min) when starting tretinoin for a while.

The pharmacist has told me,

•5 min first night

•10 the next night

•30 for 3 nights

•2 hours for 5 nights

•then over night.

It’s day 2 now (10 min) and my skin burned for a bit and is now red, whereas last night (5min) i didn’t get any symptom of irritation at all. I feel like I should stick to 5 min for a while?

So I have some questions - what were you told to do when starting? Would you recommend that way or no.

And what specific products do you use to wash your face & to keep your skin gently hydrated etc that won’t make this worse haha. I know spf is important ◡̈

Thanks so much guys
