Hello, I'm not sure if this is the subreddit for this, but could someone read over my essay? It's a essay comparing Thomas Hobbes and max stirner. edit :

Hello everyone, I got diagnosed with adhd the beginning of this September, and I've been taking vyvanse which has helped, but I still feel like I'm not making progress in life. I posted this on the adhdwomen subreddit aswell, but I'll post this on here for broader perspective. I turned 20, and I will have to go back to an adult school to get highschool credits after having a college offer resended. I actually applied there after not getting into a university program I wanted to get into (grades got in late) because of pressure from my parents. I struggled alot in highschool, and I was able to complete all the credits I needed to get my highschool diploma this year, but I feel so disappointed in myself because my grades weren't great, I didn't get into university and not even the college program I applied to as a last resort. I don't want to go to college, and I'd like to apply to university again next year, but my parents will tell me how I won't be able to do it and that I should just go to college. Something I noticed about myself is that those in person classes at the adult learning center I went to I was able to stay on track and get stuff on time, and I was taking online classes earlier in the year where I struggled to stay on track. I'm thinking of just updating my grades for some courses by taking those in person classes, but I know my parents are going to be really upset and this is going to cause a massive fight. I don't think my parents really believe I have adhd or any disability (I have immigrant parents). They just think I'm lazy I guess. I feel really upset because despite getting medication which has helped in alot of ways, I still wasn't able to get into the university I wanted and not even the college program I applied to as a last resort. I find myself hyper fixating on the wrong things a lot, like how the house is so dirty, or how I need to meal prep and eat this perfect high protein and fibre diet, etc. when I'm on vyvanse and I'm working to reduce that. I find that it makes me mad and very mean to people. I find that even during my productive days I don't get as much done as I'd like, but it does help me focus. If I get started on proper work in the morning I'm able to work with alot of focus. I'm so worried that I won't be able to keep up with the demands of university and I'll fail out of it. It's also very hard to find a job where I live right now (I'm in canada and the job market is not great) I'm just so worried that I'll basically have nothing to do next year (besides retaking some classes to upgrade my grade). I just have alot of doubt, like i'm not sure if I even want to go to university for what I was planning on going for. I feel terrible about disappointing my parents. I've basically been crying for the last 30 minutes. I feel really overwhelmed, any advice would be appreciated.
I'm having troubles understanding this question. to evaluate for sin, pi/2 - 11pi/180, which I get, but they don't subtract it, which I don't get. wouldn't the answer be sin 49/180 ?
Hello, I need some help understanding this concept. 240 degrees converted to radians is 4 pi/3, so wouldn't that make this a multiple of 30 degrees?
"30° can be rewritten in radians as pi/6". Since 240 rad cannot be written as a multiple of pi/6 rad this cannot be a multiple of 30°." This is the explanation the teacher gave me, but it doesn't make sense.
Hello, so I recently made these citrus adobo tacos and I came across a couple issues. I had chicken breast so I decided to use that, and sliced each breast in the middle (like butterflying the chicken, but went all the way through). I cooked the chicken on medium heat until my meat thermometer reached around 165 degrees. I used a cast iron skillet and found that there wasn't much browning and took awhile to get there. I also found that the chicken itself wasn't that flavorful, but I noticed that the marinate when cooked with chicken was really good. Unfortuntely the marinade would start burning (there's onions and fresh garlic in it) and I had to cook my second batch of chicken so I had to remove it. I realize that keeping the heat to medium high would be better for browning, but the fresh bits were already burning on medium. the tacos themselves were good but the marinade wasn't utilized to its potential. I hear that you shouldn't marinade chicken in strong acid marinades for long periods of time, so I marinated my chicken for 6 hours. Things were also salted well, and I added a full adobo pepper instead of half like the recipe suggested and used 3 tbsp of the adobo sauce. I'm wondering what would be a better way to cook the chicken to utilize the marinade while having good browning on the chicken?
I think I'm making a calculation error but I'm not sure where I'm going wrong
The equation for this graph is f(x)=(x-4)^3(x-1)(x+2)^2, but since the graph has a y intercept, wouldn't I find the a value? The answer for this question is just finding the roots and making factors for the equation using that. Also when I solved for the a value, it gave me 9/8. So I'm not sure where I went wrong
I'm doing questions on factoring polynomials using long division. This question was (x+7)^2 divided by the equation you see, so I expanded this and divided, but I'm not sure where I went wrong.
Hi everyone! I got diagnosed with adhd this September, and Ive been taking 30 mg for the last 3 months, and I find that it has really helped me with my anxiety and focus, but I find that it doesn't last long. I wake up 8 am, and within 4 hours of taking it I have really bad brain fog and exaustion. I'm also really emotional during this period and feel like shit, very anxious. I've had low iron and b12 levels for a long time and I've started taking supplements again (after not taking them for awhile) so I'm hoping that's help but even on a lower dose I was dealing with this. I really love 30 mg for the focus, but I'm thinking maybe vyvanse isn't for me and I should try something else?
I'm confused about how this function would have 4 turning points, not 3
I'm not sure where I'm going wrong, but I keep getting this question wrong. I have to expand this equation and say what the shape is (what polynomial function) which I can do, if I figure out where I'm going wrong with solving this.
