Living in a cherry picker's Paradise

It turns out that, in my home zone, you can keep platinum status with zero points in AR as long as you're good enough at the rest of your job

Has it always been this way?

I thought door dash paid $2 for the base pay *per order* even if it's a double stack. Maybe I'm wrong, but if not, when did they start paying *less* for *more* work?

"You're going to teach her how to spell wrong!"

less of a rant and more "an argument that I think is way funnier than my wife does" but whatever I think someone might appreciate reading this

so I was trying to talk to my wife about something without Charlotte overhearing me and I spelled out a word but I spelled it wrong. She corrected me (I promise this is funny later) and I said "whatever, you knew what I meant right" and her response was "well you're gonna teach her how to spell wrong!"

Here's the thing though, Charlotte is a dog. She's not even a service dog or anything she's just my fuzzbaby.

So like immediately I thought this was very funny because like yes I know dogs can tell when you're spelling a word if they listen to you do it enough times and then you like grab the leash right after, but like why does it matter if she spells it wrong?

We went back and forth for a little bit about how dogs can learn how to spell but she's not likely to be in any spelling bees any time soon etc. etc. until I defused it by revealing that I spelled it wrong as a joke in the first place.

The word was "walk" but I spelled it W-O-L-K. It was a joke for her, not Charl. When it dawned on her that the whole argument was a joke she laughed, and I think we're good now, but LMAO wtf "you're gonna teach her how to spell wrong" like... what in tarnation
