I'm joining chemical engineering and wanted to connect with others, preferably other ChemE students but other branches also dm.

Let's be friends and help each other out after classes start.

Anyone in chemical engineering?

helloo, I wanted to join dsce for chemical engineering, i just wanted to know how the lectures were, where y'all are doing internships, how much time is given for holidays and if time is given for internships and stuff, i wanted to go into research further so yeah. are most of the che students male or are there equal male and female students?

also, when does the college start?

is chemical engineering very hard

i was told that chemical engineering is very very hard and that you have to maintain a cgpa of 9.0 or more to get placements, is that true? and do I need to do masters afterwards compulsorily?

help

I'm in banglore right, so I didn't score that well in boards and kcet so my parents are trying for management quota, i don't know what college to select, although they say if I take chemical engineering I can try for rvce, bmse or msrit. I don't know if it's worth it.

my parents want me to take a drop year, i didn't do so well in boards, and so everyday my mother comes up to me and tells me that everyone is getting 93, 95, 97 but i didn't score well even though she thinks I had the potential to do it but was too lazy. i don't know what to do, I'm trying to study for the second exam but my mother keeps on pressuring me, she asks me if I can even score an 80 now and if I try to tell her I'm tired she calls me weak or tells me I'm pathetic.
