Confusion regarding upskilling myself and consistent

I joined a company in 2024 with a package of 4.6 LPA. By this August, I will complete 2 years of experience, and I am planning to switch jobs within the next 6 months. Currently, I am working on AWS-related projects and have a moderate level of knowledge in AWS.

After getting my job, I stopped practicing DSA, but now I am concerned because many companies ask DSA questions during interviews. At the same time, I am interested in learning AI technologies along with gaining deeper expertise in AWS.

My dream companies are Deloitte, GE, and Salesforce. I would appreciate guidance on:

  • Which skills I should focus on learning now
  • How much importance I should give to DSA preparation
  • Whether I should prioritize AI, advanced AWS, or both
  • A proper roadmap to help me switch successfully within the next 6 months

Any suggestions or guidance would be very helpful.
I often switch between different skills after gaining only some basic knowledge in one area. Because of this, I have not been able to develop deep expertise in any particular skill. I want to improve my focus and build strong proficiency in a specific domain so that I can grow confidently in my career, please advise how to be consistent with skill at a time.

Concern Regarding Alleged Backdoor Hiring Opportunity at Accenture

I am currently working at Accenture, and one of my friends who is currently unemployed asked if I could help her find a job. To support her, I reached out to some of my friends working in different companies to check whether there were any openings available. Whenever I found suitable opportunities, I shared the application links with her so she could apply directly.

Recently, I came across another friend who works at a different company. She mentioned that she could arrange a job in a non-IT company if my friend paid a certain amount of money, and she also claimed that an IT job at Accenture could be arranged for around ₹2.5 lakhs.

As an employee, this has raised serious concerns for me. I am unable to understand how a “backdoor” hiring process in Accenture could even be possible.

Job role changed

Hi all,

My role was recently changed from PADA to AI/ML Computational Science Associate. Does anyone know why this change might have happened?

I have basic knowledge of AI and also cleared an Oracle Cloud AI-related certification exam. Could the role change be because of the Oracle certification?
