Hello all!

What is everyone's favorite fabric type to make pants out of?

I've realized "cute pants that fit me" is the biggest hole in my wardrobe, in part because I shy away from making them. I think I just lack the knowledge - I don't have a heavy duty machine so I haven't tried denim, I don't want to have to iron something every time I wear it so I haven't tried linen. Are those assumptions even correct?? I love corduroy but don't even know if you need something special to sew it. I would love to hear what you all love!
