This is probably a dumb question for the experts here but looking for advice.

I have a tattoo appointment exactly 1 week before a bachelor party in Florida next month. We will most likely be in the pool a lot as well as the sun. Not as worried about the sun as I can keep it covered but the pool concerns me.

Everything I am reading online is basically saying I shouldn’t go in the pool at all, with some advice around how if I can’t avoid it then to wear protective water seals.

Should I go ahead and reschedule my appointment until after I am back or will it be fine if I am careful? If it helps context wise it’s all black ink on the outside of my calf below knee down to ankle.
