How do I fix ceiling lamp?
I broke the ceiling rose accidentally and I want to install a flush mount IKEA lamp. Is it possible to fix it DIY? How to do it?

UK Citizenship after 15 months from ILR application date?
I came across this wording in the UK citizenship guidance:
“the applicant made an application for ILR at least 15 months before the citizenship application and was granted following a delay which was not their fault”
Has anyone had experience with this?
Say someone applied for ILR and it took 10 months to be granted, with the delay clearly not being their fault. In this case, could they apply for citizenship 15 months after the ILR application date, rather than 12 months after ILR was granted? In another word, could they apply citizenship after 5 months they got their ILR, in that concept?
For context, the applicant was told around month 7 that a caseworker still hadn’t been allocated, so the delay seems pretty clearly out of their hands.
Would be really interested to hear if anyone has actually relied on this wording / had a similar case.

Can this plant look healthier again? If so, how?
It has a lot of brown, dead-looking foliage. Is this normal, or does it need pruning/dividing? What would you do to make it look healthier and tidier again? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!
