Need help with Platycerium Superbum mounting
Hi everyone!
I mounted my platycerium superbum 2 months ago and I’ve just realized that I might have mount it incorrectly. Should I rotate it 90 degrees to the right?

Hi everyone,
I got a young Lasius Niger queen with a few workers a few months ago. Everything’s going very well, but I noticed the water level in their test tube is pretty low at the moment; moreover, the black mold on the cotton starts to be too much.
I’ve read that Lasius Niger are very stubborn when dealing with moving. Some people didn’t manage to move the queen even after days or weeks with light on the tube. In the end, they had to just force them into the new test tube, by simply dropping them inside it.
How should I plan the moving? Is it wise to avoid the “gentle” try with light and directly drop them inside the new test tube?
I just want to avoid useless and unnecessary stress for the colony.
Thanks in advance!
Found this queen on a hike near Cervinia, Italy. In a semi forest/meadow environment.
At first I thought about Formica Cunicularia, but having a doubt now with Formica Rufa or Formica Rufa group in general.
Thoughts?
I’ll let her free where I found her if it’s Rufa.
I want to build a small terrarium, I’m unsure of the amount of light I’ll need for my plants and I wanted a LED light on which I could dim the light.
Easy choice would be the Arcadia Jungle dawn 18W lumenize (on/off and intensity can be set by app)- for more than 100$.
Instead, I found similar Barrina T8 15W for a fraction of the price - 39$ for 4.
Are these light compatible with an external dimmer? A smart dimmer could do the same job, and for the full single lamp + dimmer it would be around 20$.
